Data Deletion
InboxTidy lets signed-in users delete app-owned account data at any time. This page is the canonical data deletion URL for Google OAuth verification.
Delete your InboxTidy account data
- Sign in to InboxTidy with the Google account you used for the app.
- Open Settings from the app navigation.
- Use the delete data control in the danger zone.
- After deletion, InboxTidy signs you out and removes your app-owned records.
What is deleted
- InboxTidy account and session records.
- Google connection records and encrypted OAuth grant records stored by InboxTidy.
- Scan runs, sender summaries, cleanup candidates, cleanup action records, audit logs, and support requests.
- Subscription linkage and one-time purchase records stored by InboxTidy.
What is not deleted
Deleting InboxTidy data does not delete Gmail messages. Gmail messages remain in your Google account. Any messages previously archived or moved to Gmail Trash remain governed by Gmail and Google's retention behavior.
Stripe may retain payment records required for receipts, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Revoke Google access directly
You can also revoke InboxTidy's Google access from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking Google access stops future Gmail API access, but it does not automatically delete app records already stored by InboxTidy.
