Terms of Service
Effective date: 13 May 2026. These terms describe the practical rules for using InboxTidy.
The service
InboxTidy scans Gmail metadata to identify newsletters, marketing senders, and cleanup opportunities. You can review suggestions before paying and before any Gmail changes are made.
InboxTidy is not an email client, AI assistant, productivity platform, or backup service. It is a small cleanup utility focused on transparent, user-approved inbox cleanup.
User approval and Gmail changes
- InboxTidy will not modify Gmail until you approve selected cleanup actions.
- Archive cleanup removes selected messages from the Inbox and applies an InboxTidy label.
- Trash cleanup moves selected messages to Gmail Trash, where Google's own retention rules apply.
- Undo is available for supported cleanup actions through the audit page.
Billing and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. InboxTidy may offer one-time cleanup purchases and monthly or yearly subscriptions. Subscription changes and cancellation are handled through the Stripe customer portal.
If you cancel a subscription, access remains available until the end of the current billing period unless Stripe or InboxTidy shows otherwise.
Refund policy
Refunds are reviewed case by case. Successful completed scans and successful cleanup actions count as consumed service. Unused one-time cleanup purchases may be eligible for review, but refunds are not automatic and no support response should be treated as a refund promise.
Data and acceptable use
You are responsible for reviewing cleanup selections before approval. Do not use InboxTidy for accounts you do not own or control. InboxTidy may suspend access if abuse, payment fraud, or security risk is detected.
